Sunday Worship at Scrabo

Sunday Morning Worship – We gather for worship every Sunday morning at 10.30am, when there is an opportunity to be led in praise, to bring our prayers to Almighty God, and to be taught from a chosen passage of Scripture. It is also a time of fellowship and encouragment when folk linger for some time afterwards to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a chat.

Creche – There is a parent led creche facility availabe with age appropriate toys and where the service is livestreamed into the room. We love having children with us at Scrabo and you are welcome to either keep them with you in the service or use the creche facility.

Sunday School – or as we know it…..KidsZone. Starting at 10.45am, (after the Children’s section of the Sunday Service), this is run by a highly motivated group of leaders. KidsZone seeks to work with the children from the ages of Primary 1 to Primary 7, and Year 8 to Year 11. With a creative and interactive bible learning programme, they will engage in singing, memory verses, stories and games. They will not only learn about God but also about themselves. Often they produce craft to take home with them but most of all, they will remember the stories and relate them to you over your Sunday lunch!

Sunday Evening Worship – Our weekly Sunday evening worship at 7.00pm alternates between Bible Study (2nd and 4th Sundays) and Prayer & Praise (1st, 3rd and 5th Sundays). In our Bible Studies we follow the same material as our Home Group Bible Studies as we dig into God’s Word together and seek his guidance and wisdom from it for our day to day lives. During our Prayer & Praise evenings we spend some time praising God for his goodness to us and bringing our church, our community and our world before him in prayer.
